History of Paso Robles
Formally established in 1989, Paso Robles (El Paso de Robles, or Oaks Pass) is located on the Salinas River just 30 minutes north of San Luis Obispo, California, and well-known for a myriad wineries and hosting the Mid-State Fair. Originally home to the Salinan Indians who knew the area for it's "Hot Springs", Paso Robles is a beautiful ranch and farming community, home to cattle ranches, wineries, apple and almond orchards, dairy farms and much more!
