Lending Specialist

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors' lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members. An important element of this outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively cross-selling the products, services and solutions that will improve the members' financial life. 

Additionally, under general supervision of the Assistant Lending Manager, Consumer Loan Manager, Consumer Lending AVP, or AVP/Regional Manager, a Lending Specialist is responsible for performing a wide variety of loan based functions.   A Lending Specialist promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union at all times.

Real Estate Loan Processor


The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.  An important element of this outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively suggesting solutions that will improve the member’s financial life. 

Additionally, under general supervision of the Real Estate Manager, a Real Estate Loan Processor is responsible for performing a wide variety of member loan duties in the Real Estate Department.  A Real Estate Loan Processor promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Wealth Management Registered Rep

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.  Additionally, under general supervision of the Vice President, Wealth Management, the Registered Representative is responsible for performing a wide variety of duties relating to soliciting, selling and servicing securities and insurance products to Credit Union clients and preparing tax returns.  A Registered Representative promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Qualification Requirements (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.):

Education and Experience 
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Marketing or related field and three (3) years related work experience marketing securities and insurance products; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or equivalent designation is desired

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Series 7 General Securities Representative License
Series 63 State Uniform Securities Agent License
Series 65 State Uniform Investment Advisor License
California Life and Health Insurance License
Ability to obtain a valid driver’s license and provide proof of insurance

Education Manager

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.  Under general supervision of the Senior Vice President, Human Resources, the Education Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing employee training and development programs, activities and Education Department employees.  An Education Manager promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Essential Duties:

Confers with management and develops research methods, gathers information, analyzes data, assesses training needs and recommends training programs

Develops and delivers training programs based on identified training needs and changes in Credit Union policy, procedures, programs, services or products

Selects appropriate training methods, such as individual, group or computer based training (CBT); self 
study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role-play, written tests or other activities

Reviews, evaluates, purchases and utilizes CBT software; ensures information is accurate and updates 
timely

Develops and maintains appropriate training materials and utilizes software, manuals, and other 
educational products

Develops criteria to measure employee performance and training effectiveness

Utilizes a variety of methods, including written tests, simulated activities and CBT software, to test and 
certify/recertify employees’ competency levels

Evaluates employees’ test results and makes recommendations to employees’ managers for improving 
employees’ competency

Develops, conducts, supervises and evaluates new employees during orientation

As a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Team Leader, develops department contingency strategy, tactics, plans and policies for each major tasks, accesses and uploads revised department policies, procedures, practices, forms, system passwords and vendor lists into Business Continuity software.  During an exercise or a disaster, executes department BCP, including coordinating recovery activity among team members, facilitating communication between team and Leadership Team and directing any appropriate communication with third parties.

Branch Manager (Vandenberg Village & Base Branches)

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members. An important element of this outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively suggesting solutions that will improve the member’s financial life. Additionally, under general direction of the AVP/Regional Manager, the Branch Manager is responsible for the management, direction and operation of the branch and branch employees’ activities towards attainment of Credit Union goals by providing maximum member benefit. Additionally, the Branch Manager is responsible for developing profitable new business and cross-selling all applicable Credit Union products and services to existing portfolio and prospective member/clients. Level is determined by branch asset size.

Member Services Officer

The Member Services Officer (teller) performs a wide variety of financial transactions and duties while providing friendly, accurate, responsive service to our members. We desire prior customer service and cash handling experience. Saturday work hours are required at the Five Cities, Lompoc, Paso Robles and Santa Maria branches. Employment applications are always accepted for part-time and full-time, non-exempt positions to work at our eleven branch locations and call center.
