Social Media Officer 

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its vision to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members. 
 
Under the supervision of the SVP Chief Marketing Officer and working in tandem with the entire Marketing team, the Social Media Officer will develop and implement the Credit Union’s Social Media Strategy to develop brand awareness, generate interactive community relationships, and encourage product adoption.   The selected candidate will consistently display strong skills in the key areas of creativity, content, commerce, community, and caution, as they relate to a successful social media strategy.

Essential Duties:
- Manage social media campaigns and day to day interactive activities, including all desired social media sights.  Duties will include creative content generation, community outreach, blog posts, and other outreach efforts.
- Responsible for editorial planning, daily management, and performance tracking across all of the Credit Union’s social properties,  both existing and to-be-developed
- Maintain and utilize the Credit Union’s Customer Retention Management System (Salesforce), including data entry, lead list generation, and other initiatives aimed at reaching business objectives
- Implement and monitor the Credit Union’s strategies for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and digital marketing
- Advocate credit union products and ideals in the social media spaces, as well as through community involvement. 
- Develop and attend community related events to increase awareness. Represent the Credit Union in a professional, responsible manner at social and business functions

Branch Manager (Vandenberg Village & Base Branches)




Real Estate Underwriter

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.  An important element of this outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively suggesting solutions that will improve the member’s financial life.  Additionally, under general supervision of the AVP Real Estate, a Real Estate Underwriter is responsible for underwriting and evaluating Real Estate loans in the Real Estate Department.  A Real Estate Underwriter promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Essential Job Duties:

Underwrites Real Estate loan applications
Evaluates Real Estate loans in order to maximize organizational profit and minimize risk or loss
Relies on extensive related experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Understands Desktop Real Estate Underwriter and findings in reports
Ensures loan documentation is complete and accurate, processes loans, documents loan file
Monitors property appraisal process
Performs within lending limits approved by Board of Directors
Handle loans of highest complexity, value and risk
Receives loan application, reviews and verifies information, obtains credit reports and verifies credit references

Collections Officer 1

An important element of this outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively suggesting solutions that will improve the member’s financial life.  Additionally, under general supervision of the Collections Manager, a Collection Officer is responsible for performing a wide variety of member Collections duties.  A Collection Officer promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Qualification Requirements (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required):
A high school diploma or its equivalent with 6 months to 1-year experience in the field or in a related area.

Wealth Management Registered Rep


The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.  Additionally, under general supervision of the Vice President, Wealth Management, the Registered Representative is responsible for performing a wide variety of duties relating to soliciting, selling and servicing securities and insurance products to Credit Union clients and preparing tax returns.  A Registered Representative promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Qualification Requirements (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.):

Education and Experience 
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Marketing or related field and three (3) years related work experience marketing securities and insurance products; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or equivalent designation is desired

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Series 7 General Securities Representative License
Series 63 State Uniform Securities Agent License
Series 65 State Uniform Investment Advisor License
California Life and Health Insurance License

AVP Retail Sales


The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union in achieving its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members. An important element of this outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively suggesting solutions that will improve the member’s financial life. Additionally, under direction of the Vice President of Retail Sales, the AVP Retail Sales is responsible for the development of assigned employees and the sales and service activities of the assigned branches towards the attainment of Credit Union goals by providing maximum member benefit. 

Qualification Requirements (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.):

Education and Experience 
A college degree or equivalent knowledge of branch operational activities and understanding of loan and sales practices as would normally be acquired from five or more years of increasingly responsible experience in a supervisory or managerial position within a financial institution, or other related managerial experience that may be relevant to or of benefit in a managerial capacity. A proven track record of producing results in the area of sales and member service.

MIS Officer

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.  Additionally, under general supervision of the MIS Assistant Manager, a Member Information Systems Officer 1 is responsible for a variety of Member Information Systems Department duties, which may include but is not limited to Automated Clearing House (ACH), credit cards, VISA check/ATM (Automated Teller Machine) cards and check processing.

Education Manager


The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.  Under general supervision of the Senior Vice President, Human Resources, the Education Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing employee training and development programs, activities and Education Department employees.  An Education Manager promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Essential Duties:

Confers with management and develops research methods, gathers information, analyzes data, assesses training needs and recommends training programs

Develops and delivers training programs based on identified training needs and changes in Credit Union policy, procedures, programs, services or products

Selects appropriate training methods, such as individual, group or computer based training (CBT); self 
study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role-play, written tests or other activities

Reviews, evaluates, purchases and utilizes CBT software; ensures information is accurate and updates 
timely

Develops and maintains appropriate training materials and utilizes software, manuals, and other 
educational products

Develops criteria to measure employee performance and training effectiveness

Utilizes a variety of methods, including written tests, simulated activities and CBT software, to test and 
certify/recertify employees’ competency levels

Evaluates employees’ test results and makes recommendations to employees’ managers for improving 
employees’ competency

Develops, conducts, supervises and evaluates new employees during orientation

As a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Team Leader, develops department contingency strategy, tactics, plans and policies for each major tasks, accesses and uploads revised department policies, procedures, practices, forms, system passwords and vendor lists into Business Continuity software.  During an exercise or a disaster, executes department BCP, including coordinating recovery activity among team members, facilitating communication between team and Leadership Team and directing any appropriate communication with third parties.

Additionally, under general direction of the AVP/Regional Manager, the Branch Manager is responsible for the management, direction and operation of the branch and branch employees’ activities towards attainment of Credit Union goals by providing maximum member benefit. Additionally, the Branch Manager is responsible for developing profitable new business and cross-selling all applicable Credit Union products and services to existing portfolio and prospective member/clients. Level is determined by branch asset size.

Consumer Loan Processor


The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members and vehicle dealerships.  An important element of this outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively suggesting solutions that will improve the member’s financial life.  Additionally, under general supervision of the Consumer Loan Manager, a Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for performing a wide variety of member and dealership loan related duties in the Consumer Lending Department.  A Consumer Loan Processor promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Knowledge and understanding of consumer lending procedures, practices and policies and credit fundamentals as would normally be acquired through experience.

Member Services Officer

The Member Services Officer (teller) performs a wide variety of financial transactions and duties while providing friendly, accurate, responsive service to our members. We desire prior customer service and cash handling experience. Saturday work hours are required at the Five Cities, Lompoc, Paso Robles and Santa Maria branches.
