  Branch Manager - Atascadero

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.

Review of Duties:

Works in tandem with VP of Retail and Sales and VP of Operations and Support to regularly schedule and conduct branch meetings to inform and update employees of Credit Union goals and progress towards goals, promotions, products, services, activities and to encourage participation and open communication.

Solicits relationships from profitable new commercial loans and deposits.

  Relationship Manager

Under general direction of the AVP of Retail Sales, the Relationship Manager is responsible for the management, direction and operation of branch sales and services by coaching the branch employees’ activities towards attainment of Credit Union goals and providing maximum member benefit. The Relationship Manager promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union at all times.

Review of Duties:

Actively participates in various community organizations and events to promote the image of the Credit Union.

Accountable for the attainment of branch sales goals and operational compliance.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Credit Union policies and applicable laws.

Coaches, mentors and reviews sales activities of the MSOs and Lending Specialists and provides appropriate feedback and recommendations to senior management.

   Collection Manager

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members. An important element of this outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively suggesting solutions that will improve the member’s financial life.

Additionally, under general direction of the AVP Collections and/or VP Collections, carries out any and all collections activities as assigned.

Review of Duties:

Manages department to control delinquency and charge-off ratios to achieve budgeted departmental objectives.

Ensures staff compliance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures.

Review all requests for charge-off, repossession and partial settlement.

Recommends for approval to AVP Collections/VP Collections for charge offs, repossessions, partial settlement, foreclosure, short sale, extensions, REO Liquidation and loan workouts.

   Wealth Management - Registered Representative

   Human Resources Manager

The HR Manager is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and direction for all aspects of HR operations including employee relations, benefits and compensation, recruitment, HR planning, and performance development. This includes assisting in the development, and providing implementation of strategic HR programs and policies, as well as day-to-day operational management.

Review of Duties:

Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures.

Supervises the writing and placement of advertisements; writes and updates job descriptions, as necessary and may assist with new employee orientations.

Works with VP of HR/Leadership to develop recommended merit pool (salary budget); provides on-going compensation analysis.

First point of contact for all non-exempt employee relations concerns.

   Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst 1 is responsible for providing analytical support for various finance functions and financial profitability initiatives within the organization. Assignments will include annual budget & expense projections, monthly variance analysis and routine reporting. Further responsibilities include timely and accurate reporting, relevant and insightful analysis to support decision making in achieving strategic goals.

Review of Duties:

Performs cost benefit analysis for new products, portfolio acquisitions and credit and risk related initiatives.

Identifies best practices and drives industry leading credit quality improvement initiatives.

Develops reports and presentations on lending exposure, credit risk, loss mitigation and related topics.

Functions as a project manager for various internal projects, including creating project requirements, tracking deliverables and ensuring timely completion of project phases.

   Credit Analyst

Under general direction of the Sr. Credit Analyst/Underwriter, the Credit Analyst is responsible for conducting credit investigations and analysis for small business loans of basic to moderate complexity.

Review of Duties:

Analyzes financial data using specialized commercial credit analysis software.

Provides effective credit analysis of business loan requests and business loan participation opportunities.

Conducts site visits with member/borrowers as necessary to discuss financial conditions, loan structure or other applicable loan underwriting issues.

Monitors and follows up on loan covenants, stipulations and documentation exceptions.

The Relationship Specialist promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union at all times. 

Review of Duties:

Prepares and processes loan-related transaction requests, in person or by telephone.

Actively explains, promotes and cross-sells Credit Union services, products, programs and investment opportunities.

Resolves errors, member problems and/or complaints in a timely manner.

Accurately operates a variety of office equipment and machines.

Follows policies and procedures related to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) to ensure daily compliance with current regulations.

   Member Services Officer (Teller)

The Member Services Officer performs a wide variety of financial transactions and duties while providing friendly, accurate, responsive service to our members. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.

We desire prior customer service and cash handling experience, as well as flexibility in the offices that we have open on Saturdays (includes the Five Cities, Lompoc, Paso Robles and Santa Maria branches).
