  Real Estate Manager - Lompoc, CA

Under limited supervision of the AVP of Real Estate, the Manager of Real Estate is responsible for the activities of the Real Estate Department and assigned employees towards attainment of Credit Union goals by providing maximum member benefit.

Review of Duties:

Plans, directs, organizes and controls all real estate activities and assigned employees.

Insures loan activities are applied and comply with established Credit Union operating policies, procedures and government standards.

Receives and responds to member and lending providers’ inquiries.

Develops and implements policies, procedures, and practices to insure each loan is properly prepared, credit references, verifications and forms documented, approved, and disbursed accurately and timely.
Ensures real estate loan quality and turn-around time meet department standards.

Monitors rates and pricing for residential loan portfolio.

Responsible for administrative duties of our loan origination system.

Responsible for accurate and timely HMDA reporting.

Actively participates in project implementation, including leading and participating in business priority projects.

Responsible for overseeing the function of the sale of residential real estate loans on the secondary market.

Responsible for monitoring the reports and balancing of real estate loans serviced outside the Credit Union.

Responsible for ensuring our third party servicer is addressing escalated issues within a timely manner.

  Credit Analyst (Commercial Lending) - Orcutt, CA

Under direction of the Sr. Credit Analyst/Underwriter, the Credit Analyst is responsible for conducting credit investigations and analysis for small business loans of basic to moderate complexity.

Review of Duties:

Works closely with the Credit Analyst and Business Services staff to complete the documentation, underwriting, approval and closing process.

Reviews credit memoranda and underwriting analyses prepared by or received from the Credit Analyst or Underwriter for accuracy and adequacy.

Reviews commercial real estate appraisals for adequacy, compliance and detail and documents the applicable review’s assessments and findings.

Continuously monitors product offerings, terms and best practices of competitors and reports findings to management when appropriate.

Fully complies with all applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures.

Under the general supervision of the Lending Center Manager, the Internal Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for managing and originating quality real estate loans from branches, LSI, online applications and members, for the purpose of increasing real estate loan volume and market share.

Review of Duties:

Prepares and conducts home buyer seminars to explain loan programs and policies, terms, features and benefits to members and potential borrowers.

Interviews loan applicants, gathers required documentation, conducts loan closings and guides members through the loan origination process from beginning to end.

Demonstrates leadership characteristics, organizational skills and experience working in an automated origination environment.

Under supervision of the AVP of Real Estate, a Real Estate Loan Closer is responsible for performing a wide variety of member loan duties in the Real Estate Department.

Review of Duties:

Receives and reviews applications submitted for final document preparation.

Funds and distributes loan proceeds at time of closing.

Requires reconciling additions and disbursements of escrow accounts.

Verifies that all HMDA data if applicable has been completed.

  Real Estate Underwriter - Lompoc, CA

Under the direction of the AVP of Real Estate, a Mortgage Underwriter is responsible for underwriting and evaluating all mortgage applications submitted to the Real Estate Department.

Review of Duties:

Perform a thorough review and analysis of complex mortgage loan applications and make loan decisions in accordance with the Credit Union’s lending policies, authority, applicable regulatory statutes, and adherence to secondary market investor requirements.

Maintain real estate loan underwriting authority as granted by the Credit Union. This will be accomplished by maintaining working and technical knowledge of the real estate lending processing and underwriting requirements in accordance with the Credit Union and secondary market investor requirements.

Provides training and support to Mortgage Processors in relation to the productivity and growth of the Real Estate Department.

Responsible for maintaining appropriate education materials and utilize software, manuals, and other educational products.

Follows policies and procedures related to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) Truth-In-Lending Act (TILA), to ensure daily compliance with current regulations

Under general direction of the Business Services Manager, the Commercial Loan Processor is responsible for providing administrative and operational support for the Business Services function within the Credit Union.

Review of Duties:

Working closely with Business Service’s management, maintains, develops and revises policies, procedures, forms and worksheets pertaining to business products, services and processes.

Prepares correspondence and provides telephone follow-up on outstanding items, i.e. financial statement updates, account receivable listings, insurance binders and etc. relating to cash management and member business loan files.

Perform maintenance and input on the Business Services Pipeline Report.

Notarizes signatures on cash management and business loan documents as necessary.

  Collection Officer - Lompoc, CA

Under general supervision of the Collections Manager, a Collection Officer is responsible for performing a wide variety of member Collections duties.

Review of Duties:

Researches and analyzes data on past-due loan accounts, non-sufficient return items and negative share balances, and claims of fraudulent account activity.

Negotiates and establishes repayment process with member or recommend extension of credit.

Contacts member through various methods, telephone, letter, and email to determine reason for delinquency.

Evaluates payments being made on delinquent accounts and determine how payment will be applied.

Responds to members’ inquiries and requests; assist in completing forms and documents.

  Recovery Specialist - Lompoc, CA

Under general supervision of the Collections Manager, a Collection Recovery Specialist is responsible for performing a wide variety of member Collections duties. A Collection Recovery Specialist promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Review of Duties:

Researches and analyzes data on past due and charged off loan accounts including negative shares.

Works with collections agencies to cure or maximize amount of post charge-off recoveries on loans exceeding legal statute.

Oversight on legal fees to ensure cost is minimized.

Works with legal counsel for summons and complaints, liens, bank levy’s.

Researches account loan transactions to resolve payment errors that lead to reducing losses.

  MIS Operator 1 - Lompoc, CA

Under general supervision of the MIS Operation Supervisor, Assistant MIS Manager or Manager, an MIS Operator 1 performs a variety of duties related to data processing systems and associated peripheral and auxiliary equipment and may include but is not limited to Automated Clearing House (ACH), Remote deposits and check/ATM (Automated Teller Machine) cards.

Review of Duties:

Participates in a rotation including but not limited to Computer Operations, Checks and ATMs.

Serves in on-call and weekend duty rotation.

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of Episys (core member data processing system), Image Center (core Check 21 system), CoWWW (core archival system),Voice Choice (audio response), and NetTeller (homebanking), Synergy and Episys interfaces with vendor software via Symconnect.

Transmits authorized data using secure transmissions to vendors.

Operates and monitors the control console, associated peripheral and auxiliary equipment of a mainframe computer for the processing of data and the preparation of business reports, studies, and analyses.

Loads peripheral equipment with required input and output materials such as tapes, cards, discs, and forms.

Operates and maintains computer programs and software, including software enhancements.

Verifies accuracy and quality and distributes reports.

Provides diagnosis in error situations to determine equipment or point of program failure.

Confers with technical personnel in the event an error requires a change of instructions or sequence of operations; planning, changing, and upgrading applications; timely repair of equipment.

Makes repairs to or arranges for repair of terminals, printers and other computer equipment.

Schedules maintenance and maintains operation records such as machine performance and production records

  Facilities Assistant - Lompoc, CA

Under the general direction of the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Assistant is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Credit Union’s facilities, physical building safety and security.

Review of Duties:

Coordinates and directs select contractors and vendors associated with the upkeep and supply of facilities.

Assists with building security functions, including camera operation, code access, safety inspections, key access and inventory, alarm and fire permits, fire systems and facility inspections.

Assists the Facility Manager’s “Safety Officer” function; contribute to the compliance with Federal, State and local regulations, including ADA and OSHA.

Maintains the upkeep and inventory of building and office equipment and furniture purchase orders for building projects; assists with the assembly of select equipment/furniture as needed.

Assists the Facility Manager with coordinating repairs and maintenance of all Facilities systems such as HVAC, plumbing, power, sewer, signs and lighting.

Under general supervision of the Real Estate AVP, a Jr. Real Estate Loan Processor is responsible for performing a wide variety of member loan duties in the Real Estate Department where needed.

Review of Duties:

Assists Mortgage Originators with obtaining pending documentation and following up on loan files.

Reviews and verifies information, obtains credit reports, verifies credit references and Processes applications in Loan Origination System (LOS).

Communicates regularly with Real Estate Agents and Title and Escrow Officers to ensure timely closing of loan transactions.

Communicates with Insurance agents to request to be added on as mortgagee on Insurance Policies.

Review of Duties:

Works closely with the Lending Specialists on loan fulfillment, including sending and receiving loan documents, maintaining production tracking reports.

Receives member application packages for funding; verify accuracy of paperwork, verifying information with members when required.

Responds to member problems and requests, when necessary; assist with completion of forms and documents.

Follows policies and procedures related to Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Lending, Regulation B, Regulation Z and all other compliance regulations to ensure daily compliance.

Receives inbound calls and makes outbound calls to initiate and process new loans and cross-sell products from new and existing members for all loan types.

Practices cross-selling techniques to promote Credit Union services.

Mines credit reports to identify opportunities and cross sell additional loan and ancillary products for consumer, real estate and business type loans.

Performs advanced problem resolution and account adjustments.

Identifies and refers new business members and accounts to their respective Branch Manager.

The Member Services Officer performs a wide variety of financial transactions and duties while providing friendly, accurate, responsive service to our members. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.

We desire prior customer service and cash handling experience, as well as flexibility in the offices that we have open on Saturdays (includes the Five Cities, Lompoc, Paso Robles and Santa Maria branches).
