  Lending Specialist

Additionally, under general supervision of the Lending Center Manager or Relationship Manager, a Lending Specialist is responsible for performing a wide variety of loan based functions.   A Lending Specialist promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union at all times.

Review of Duties: 

Actively explains, promotes and cross sells Credit Union services, products, programs and investment opportunities.  In addition, mines credit reports to identify opportunities and cross sell additional loan and ancillary products for consumer, real estate and business.

Additionally, under general supervision of the Consumer Loan Manager, a Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for performing a wide variety of member and dealership loan related duties in the Consumer Lending Department.  A Consumer Loan Processor promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Review of Duties: 

Computes payment calculation verifying interest and principle calculations.  In addition, receives dealership application packages for funding; verify accuracy of paperwork,verifying information with members when required.

  Card Services Specialist - Part Time

Additionally, under general supervision of the Card Services Supervisor, a Card Services Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and operational support for the Business and Consumer Credit and Debit Card function within the Credit Union. 

Review of Duties: 
Maintains credit and debit card general ledger accounts and logs on stolen cards.  In addition, processes disputes and maintains GL associated with said transactions (signature based).

  Member Information Systems Operator 2

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.  

Additionally, under general supervision of the MIS Operations Supervisor, a Member Information Systems Operator 2 performs a variety of duties related to data processing systems and associated peripheral and auxiliary equipment and may include but is not limited to Automated Clearing House (ACH), credit cards, and VISA check/ATM (Automated Teller Machine) cards. 

Review of Duties:
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of Episys (core data processing system), SYMConnect, CoWWW, audio response, and home banking. Operates and monitors the control console, associated peripheral and auxiliary equipment of a mainframe computer for the processing of data and the preparation of business reports, studies, and analyses.

  Software Development Officer 2

Additionally, under general supervision of the Software Development Manager, a Software Development Officer 2 performs a full range of programming tasks, including program design, program coding, debugging and documentation for the core data processing system, and peripherals, including data manipulation, input and output routines reflecting a variety of equipment configurations.

In this position you will program logical interfaces and applies techniques for efficient program logic and data manipulations, in addition to creating operator and control instructions.  You will perform intermediate programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements.

Additionally, the Branch Manager is responsible for developing profitable new business and cross-selling all applicable Credit Union products and services to existing portfolio and prospective member/clients. Level is determined by branch asset size.

In this position you will underwrite secured, unsecured and Visa loan applications as well as evaluate all loans in order to maximize organizational profit and minimize risk or loss.

  Wealth Management Registered Rep

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.  Additionally, under general supervision of the Vice President, Wealth Management, the Registered Representative is responsible for performing a wide variety of duties relating to soliciting, selling and servicing securities and insurance products to Credit Union clients and preparing tax returns.  A Registered Representative promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Wealth Management’s initial training program will consist primarily of preparing candidates for the following securities and insurance industry exams. Passing all exams by a predetermined date will be required prior to moving on the next phase of training.

Series 63 State Uniform Securities Agent License

  Education Manager

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.  Under general supervision of the Senior Vice President, Human Resources, the Education Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing employee training and development programs, activities and Education Department employees.  An Education Manager promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Essential Duties:
Confers with management and develops research methods, gathers information, analyzes data,  assesses training needs and recommends training programs

Develops and delivers training programs based on identified training needs and changes in Credit Union policy, procedures, programs, services or products

Selects appropriate training methods, such as individual, group or computer based training (CBT); self 
study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role-play, written tests or other activities

Reviews, evaluates, purchases and utilizes CBT software; ensures information is accurate and updates 
timely

Develops and maintains appropriate training materials and utilizes software, manuals, and other 
educational products

Develops criteria to measure employee performance and training effectiveness

Utilizes a variety of methods, including written tests, simulated activities and CBT software, to test and 
certify/recertify employees’ competency levels

Evaluates employees’ test results and makes recommendations to employees’ managers for improving 
employees’ competency

Develops, conducts, supervises and evaluates new employees during orientation

As a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Team Leader, develops department contingency strategy, tactics, plans and policies for each major tasks, accesses and uploads revised department policies, procedures, practices, forms, system passwords and vendor lists into Business Continuity software.  During an exercise or a disaster, executes department BCP, including coordinating recovery activity among team members, facilitating communication between team and Leadership Team and directing any appropriate communication with third parties.

  Member Services Officer

The Member Services Officer (teller) performs a wide variety of financial transactions and duties while providing friendly, accurate, responsive service to our members. We desire prior customer service and cash handling experience. Saturday work hours are required at the Five Cities, Lompoc, Paso Robles and Santa Maria branches. Employment applications are always accepted for part-time and full-time, non-exempt positions to work at our eleven branch locations and call center.
