  Branch Manager - Atascadero

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.

Review of Duties:

Works in tandem with VP of Retail and Sales and VP of Operations and Support to regularly schedule and conduct branch meetings to inform and update employees of Credit Union goals and progress towards goals, promotions, products, services, activities and to encourage participation and open communication.

Solicits relationships from profitable new commercial loans and deposits.

Solicits profitable new consumer loans and deposits.

  Relationship Manager

Under general direction of the AVP of Retail Sales, the Relationship Manager is responsible for the management, direction and operation of branch sales and services by coaching the branch employees’ activities towards attainment of Credit Union goals and providing maximum member benefit. The Relationship Manager promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union at all times.

Review of Duties:

Actively participates in various community organizations and events to promote the image of the Credit Union.

Accountable for the attainment of branch sales goals and operational compliance.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Credit Union policies and applicable laws.

Coaches, mentors and reviews sales activities of the MSOs and Lending Specialists and provides appropriate feedback and recommendations to senior management.

   Collection Manager

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members. An important element of this outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively suggesting solutions that will improve the member’s financial life.

Additionally, under general direction of the AVP Collections and/or VP Collections, carries out any and all collections activities as assigned.

Review of Duties:

Manages department to control delinquency and charge-off ratios to achieve budgeted departmental objectives.

Ensures staff compliance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures.

Review all requests for charge-off, repossession and partial settlement.

Recommends for approval to AVP Collections/VP Collections for charge offs, repossessions, partial settlement, foreclosure, short sale, extensions, REO Liquidation and loan workouts.

   Real Estate Assistant Manager

An important element of providing outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively suggesting solutions that will improve the member’s financial life. Additionally, under limited supervision of the AVP of Real Estate, the Assistant Manager of Real Estate is responsible for the activities of the Real Estate Department and assigned employees towards attainment of Credit Union goals by providing maximum member benefit.

Review of Duties:

Plans, directs, organizes and controls all real estate activities and assigned employees.

Responsible for monitoring the reports and balancing of real estate loans serviced outside the Credit Union.

Prepares and meets department goals and objectives.

Works closely with other department staff and management that contribute towards mortgage origination.

Regularly schedules and conducts branch meetings to inform employees of credit union goals, promotions, products, services and activities and to encourage participation and open communication.

   Real Estate Loan Processor

An important element of providing outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively suggesting solutions that will improve the member’s financial life. Additionally, under general supervision of the Real Estate AVP, a Real Estate Loan Processor is responsible for performing a wide variety of member loan duties in the Real Estate Department. A Real Estate Loan Processor promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Review of Duties:

Receives real estate loan applications, reviews and verifies information, obtains credit reports and verifies credit references and processes applications in Loan Origination System (LOS).

Orders Flood Certification and Tax Service monitoring when applicable.

Responds to members’ inquiries and requests; assists in completing forms and documents.

Serves as a back up to the Mortgage Loan Originator.

Cross-sells lending products.

   Real Estate Loan Closer

An important element of outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively suggesting solutions that will improve the member’s financial life. Additionally, under supervision of the AVP of Real Estate, a Real Estate Loan Closer is responsible for performing a wide variety of member loan duties in the Real Estate Department. A Real Estate Loan Closer promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Review of Duties:

Prepares and issues Closing Disclosures.

Reviews signed closing documents to ensure they are complete and notary seal is legible.

Communicates with escrow and title officers to ensure timely closings.

Reviews and reconciles general ledgers.

   Credit Analyst

Under general direction of the Sr. Credit Analyst/Underwriter, the Credit Analyst is responsible for conducting credit investigations and analysis for small business loans of basic to moderate complexity.

Review of Duties:

Analyzes financial data using specialized commercial credit analysis software.

Provides effective credit analysis of business loan requests and business loan participation opportunities.

Conducts site visits with member/borrowers as necessary to discuss financial conditions, loan structure or other applicable loan underwriting issues.

Monitors and follows up on loan covenants, stipulations and documentation exceptions.

The Relationship Specialist promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union at all times. 

Review of Duties:

Prepares and processes loan-related transaction requests, in person or by telephone.

Actively explains, promotes and cross-sells Credit Union services, products, programs and investment opportunities.

Resolves errors, member problems and/or complaints in a timely manner.

Accurately operates a variety of office equipment and machines.

Follows policies and procedures related to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) to ensure daily compliance with current regulations.

   Member Services Officer (Teller)

The Member Services Officer performs a wide variety of financial transactions and duties while providing friendly, accurate, responsive service to our members. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.

We desire prior customer service and cash handling experience, as well as flexibility in the offices that we have open on Saturdays (includes the Five Cities, Lompoc, Paso Robles and Santa Maria branches).
