MIS Officer


The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.  Additionally, under general supervision of the MIS Assistant Manager, a Member Information Systems Officer 1 is responsible for a variety of Member Information Systems Department duties, which may include but is not limited to Automated Clearing House (ACH), credit cards, VISA check/ATM (Automated Teller Machine) cards and check processing.

DMV Specialist (Support Operations Specialist)


The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.  Additionally, under general direction of the Support Operations Manager, the Support Operations Specialist is responsible for a variety of functions that provide support to the organization.  Department duties include retirement account administration, research and legal services, courier and mail delivery, outgoing and incoming mail processing, mail posting, legal processes, supply and printed forms purchasing, DMV processing, member research, records reproduction, retention and destruction, and optical imaging.

Education Manager


The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.  An important element of this outstanding service is identifying the financial needs for the member and effectively suggesting solutions that will improve the member’s financial life.  Additionally, under general supervision of the Senior Vice President, Marketing, the Education Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing employee training and development programs, activities and Education Department employees.  An Education Manager promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Essential Duties:

Confers with management and develops research methods, gathers information, analyzes data, assesses training needs and recommends training programs

Develops and delivers training programs based on identified training needs and changes in Credit Union policy, procedures, programs, services or products

Selects appropriate training methods, such as individual, group or computer based training (CBT); self 
study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role-play, written tests or other activities

Reviews, evaluates, purchases and utilizes CBT software; ensures information is accurate and updates 
timely

Develops and maintains appropriate training materials and utilizes software, manuals, and other 
educational products

Develops criteria to measure employee performance and training effectiveness

Utilizes a variety of methods, including written tests, simulated activities and CBT software, to test and 
certify/recertify employees’ competency levels

Evaluates employees’ test results and makes recommendations to employees’ managers for improving 
employees’ competency

Develops, conducts, supervises and evaluates new employees during orientation

As a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Team Leader, develops department contingency strategy, tactics, plans and policies for each major tasks, accesses and uploads revised department policies, procedures, practices, forms, system passwords and vendor lists into Business Continuity software.  During an exercise or a disaster, executes department BCP, including coordinating recovery activity among team members, facilitating communication between team and Leadership Team and directing any appropriate communication with third parties

Assistant Branch Manager (Lompoc Branch) 


The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.  An important element of this outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively suggesting solutions that will improve the member’s financial life.  Additionally, under direction of a Branch Manager 1, 2 3 or Regional Manager, the Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for efficiently supervising the daily operations and assigned employees of the branch in addition to assuming the responsibilities of the Manager during his/her absence. The Assistant Branch Manager also assists in coaching the staff to achieve the branch/credit union goals. An Assistant Branch Manager promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union at all times.

Branch Manager (Vandenberg Village & Base Branches)


The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members. An important element of this outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively suggesting solutions that will improve the member’s financial life. Additionally, under general direction of the AVP/Regional Manager, the Branch Manager is responsible for the management, direction and operation of the branch and branch employees’ activities towards attainment of Credit Union goals by providing maximum member benefit. Additionally, the Branch Manager is responsible for developing profitable new business and cross-selling all applicable Credit Union products and services to existing portfolio and prospective member/clients. Level is determined by branch asset size.

Consumer Loans Business Development Officer (BDO)


The primary purpose of this job is to help the Credit Union achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.  This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to internal associates, vendors, members and local businesses.  Additionally, under supervision of the AVP Consumer Loan, the Consumer Loan Business Development Officer is responsible for creating, developing and marketing promotions of Credit Union lending products and services for the purpose of increasing direct and indirect loan volume and market penetration. Two (2) years of college or equivalent education and three years of increasingly responsible experience in a lending position within a financial institution or related work experience with auto dealerships/retail business environment

Branch Manager

Lending Specialist

An important element of this outstanding service is identifying the financial needs of the member and effectively cross-selling the products, services and solutions that will improve the member’s financial life.  Additionally, under general supervision of the Assistant Lending Manager, Consumer Loan Manager, Consumer Lending AVP, or AVP/Regional Manager, a Lending Specialist is responsible for performing a wide variety of loan based functions.   A Lending Specialist promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union at all times.

Member Services Officer

 The Member Services Officer (teller) performs a wide variety of financial transactions and duties while providing friendly, accurate, responsive service to our members. We desire prior customer service and cash handling experience. Saturday work hours are required at the Five Cities, Lompoc, Paso Robles and Santa Maria branches. Employment applications are always accepted for part-time and full-time, non-exempt positions to work at our eleven branch locations and call center.
