Super Sammy Savers Club - 0 to 12 years
It's never too early to start saving for the future. Our Super Sammy Savers Club is designed especially for our youngest members. With the aid of our great products and a quarterly newsletter, Super Sammy will help teach all children about money.
Savings Account
It's easy to save for things like a scooter, a bike, a car or even college! Members 12 and under receive a special birthday postcard that allows them to receive an extra $5 just for depositing birthday money with CoastHills. A minimum balance of $5 is required and at least one parent or gaurdian must be joint on the Sammy Savers Share.
Certificate Account
Members 21 and under can open a certificate account with a little as $100. Certificate accounts offer higher rates than a traditional savings account. We have terms from 3 months to 5 years. At the end of the term, the money can be withdrawn or reinvested so it can continue to grow.
Education Savings Account
Starting a Coverdell Education Savings Account (ESA) can help financially prepare students for future education expenses. An ESA allows savings for education expenses on a tax-favored basis. Contributions can be made for the student until they reach the age of 18. We offer ESA savings, money market or certificate investment options.
Quarterly Newsletter
The quarterly Smart Sammy Savers Club Newsletter provides valuable financial information and tips for kids. The newsletter comes with the account statement for all kids seven to twelve year old.
Trips to the Treasure Chest
Kids receive a trip to the treasure chest when opening their account and with each additional deposit.
