CoastHills Visa® Payback Sweepstakes
Official Rules NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
1. Eligibility: The CoastHills Visa® Payback Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents that live, work, worship or attend school in Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties, members of CoastHills Credit Union and immediate family members of current CoastHills Credit Union members, who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of sweepstakes entry. Employees, officers and representatives of CoastHills Credit Union are not eligible. The CoastHills Visa® Payback Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation in the CoastHills Visa® Payback Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules, which are final and binding in all matters related to the CoastHills Visa® Payback Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
2. Sponsor: CoastHills Credit Union, 3880 Constellation Road, Lompoc, CA 93436.
3. Description of Prize: Only one entrant will win. The prize will be paid to the winner in one of the following manners: (1) payment by CoastHills Credit Union of a member’s Platinum Rewards Visa® or Encore Visa Signature® credit card purchases will pay up to $5,000.00; or (2) payment by CoastHills Credit Union of $5,000.00 to the winner.
4. Odds of Winning: The odds of winning will be determined by the final number of entries received. CoastHills expects to receive as many as 91,500 entries. Odds of winning are approximately 1:91,500.
5. Timing: The CoastHills Visa® Payback Sweepstakes begins on January 1, 2017, at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (“PST”) and ends on February 28, 2017, at 11:59 p.m. PST (the “Promotion Period”).
6. How to Enter: There are two (2) ways to enter the CoastHills Visa® Payback Sweepstakes.
a. Automatic Entry: A member with a CoastHills Platinum Rewards Visa® or Encore Visa Signature® card will automatically receive one (1) sweepstakes entry for each purchase or balance transfer made using their CoastHills Platinum Rewards Visa® or Encore Visa Signature® card during the Promotional Period. Account adjustment transactions/returns, cash advances and purchases authorized by entering a PIN (personal identification number) are excluded from automatic entry. Other restrictions and exclusions may apply. Platinum Rewards Visa® and Encore Visa Signature® card accounts in default are not eligible.
b. Alternate Method of Entry: To enter without purchase or obligation by U.S. Mail: Hand-print your name, address, city, state, ZIP code, and daytime and evening telephone numbers (including area code) on a 3” x 5” card, and mail, in a #10 envelope with postage affixed to CoastHills Credit Union, PO Box 200, Lompoc, CA 93438-0200. Enter as often as you wish; however, each mail-in entry will count as one (1) entry into the drawing and must be mailed in a separate postmarked-and-stamped envelope. Entries that are mechanically reproduced, copied, illegible, incomplete, or inaccurate and entries by any means which subvert the entry process are void. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Incomplete entries or entries not complying with these Official Rules are subject to disqualification, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of delivery.
7. Winner Selection and Notification: Winner will be selected at a random drawing on March 3, 2017. Winner will be notified immediately using the information provided on the entry form. If the Credit Union is unable to contact a chosen winner by phone or mail within 7 days of the drawing date, a new winner will be chosen. Winner is responsible for all applicable taxes.
