The VP Controller will manage the accounting and financial reporting functions of CoastHills Credit Union. The successful candidate will work closely with the EVP Chief Financial Officer and members of the leadership team to implement policies, procedures and action plans that support the strategic direction of the credit union.

The Controller will be the Subject Matter Expert for all topics relating to accounting and financial reporting. The EVP Chief Financial Officer, VP Controller, and VP Finance will develop close partnerships will all lines of business and provide excellent service and decision support to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.

greenarrowsm  Business Treasury Officer - Atascadero, CA

Under the direction of the VP Business Services, the Business Treasury Officer is responsible for the administrative monitoring and strategic implementation of the Credit Union’s business ancillary products (RDC, ACH, Merchant and Payroll services) and business deposit products and services (Accounts, Online Banking and Relationship Pricing).

Review of Duties:

Regularly provides reports and updates regarding the Credit Union’s business ancillary products and deposits to the EVP Chief Credit Officer, ALCO (if necessary) and other Credit Union departments and branches.

Provides leadership, coaching, mentoring and training to commercial lenders and branch employees in the areas of business deposit and ancillary products.

Regularly visits with existing or prospective business members to discuss and/or promote the Credit Union’s business deposit and ancillary products.

Responsible for the strategic planning, annual budgeting and monthly monitoring of the Credit Union’s fee income (and cost of funds when applicable) for all deposit and business ancillary products.

Under direction of the Branch Manager, the Branch Supervisor is responsible for efficiently supervising the daily operations and assigned employees of the branch in addition to assuming the responsibilities of the Manager during his/her absence.

Review of Duties:

Working with the Branch Manager, plans, manages, directs, organizes and controls the operational activities and employees of the branch, including cross selling, member service, quality, safety and security control.

Monitors and observes employee performance, demeanor, technical accuracy, sales and service efforts, and conformity to policy and procedure.

Maintains the ability to process and fund loans of all types as well as cross-sell all credit union products and services.

Maintains teamwork and morale among employees.

Under the general supervision of the Branch Manager, the Relationship Specialist identifies the financial needs of Credit Union members and effectively cross-sells products, services and solutions. Responsible for performing a wide variety of loan and deposit-based functions. Researches, analyzes and resolves a broad range of complex customer issues. Provides a high level of responsiveness to member inquiries by phone, email, or in person.

Review of Duties:

Actively explains, promotes and cross-sells Credit Union services, products, programs and investment opportunities.

Prepares and processes loan-related transaction requests, in person or by telephone.

Assists members in identifying loan and deposit products and follows appropriate procedures.

Performs advanced problem resolution and account adjustments.
