Under direction of the Branch Manager is responsible for efficiently supervising the daily operations and assigned employees of the branch in addition to assuming the responsibilities of the Manager during his/her absence.

Review of Duties:

Working with the Branch Manager, plans, manages, directs, organizes and controls the operational activities and employees of the branch, including cross selling, member service, quality, safety and security control.

Monitors and observes employee performance, demeanor, technical accuracy, sales and service efforts, and conformity to policy and procedure.

Assists the Branch Manager in providing leadership and professional development of branch staff to ensure optimal member service.

Makes necessary changes in scheduled staffing levels based on service levels, anticipated events and promotions and transaction volume.

Review of Duties:

Develops, initiates and completes marketing activities consistent with the marketing of securities and insurance products, such as conducting seminars, mailings, networking, responding to referrals, etc.

Meets with clients during non-New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Credit Union hours at the employee’s and/or Vice President, Wealth Management’s discretion.

Formulates, implements and evaluates individual financial plans for prospective and existing clients.

Gathers and analyzes data by applying technical and professional expertise.

Develops reports and presentations on lending exposure, credit risk, loss mitigation and related topics.

Under general supervision of the Collections Manager, a Collection recovery specialist is responsible for performing a wide variety of member Collections duties, while promoting and maintaining a positive image of the Credit Union.

Review of Duties:

Researches and analyzes data on past due/charged off loan accounts including negative shares.

Negotiates and establishes repayment plans on charge off loans for those with the intention of repayment.

Uses skip tracing tools to maximize contact for our members or analyze assets to pursuit legal action.

Evaluates payments being made on delinquent accounts and determine how payment will be applied.

Under general supervision of the AVP Controller and Assistant Controller, a Staff Accountant is responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties.

Review of Duties:

Performs detailed accounting duties in accounts payable, accounts receivable, property tax and GL creation.

Maintains, records and balances subsidiary ledgers and controlling accounts for prepaid asset deferrals and capital asset depreciation using the straight-line method and cashier check/money order issued, reconciled and outstanding.

Perform specialized calculations for payroll depreciation, investment interest, dividend interest and loan interest.

Prepares reports summarizing business and financial activities for external agencies – NCUA, Federal Reserve and ASI.

Review of Duties:

Operates and monitors the control console, associated peripheral and auxiliary equipment of a mainframe computer for the processing of data and the preparation of business reports, studies, and analyses.

Following established procedures, determines equipment set-up, operation, rearranges program steps, and restarts or continues operations to correct system malfunction.

Observes control panels and peripheral equipment for malfunctions and error messages displayed on control console to detect faulty output or machine stoppage.

Provides diagnosis in error situations to determine equipment or point of program failure.
